Mirror, Mirror on the Wall: TKFDM announces “FAIRest Dataset” Award

Wanted: the FAIRest Dataset in Thuringia

You or your research group published a dataset that complies with the FAIR principles? Take part in the FAIRest Dataset Award! The Thuringian Research Data Management Competence Network awards up to 2,000 Euros to the dataset that implements the FAIR principles best. The FAIR principles were published in 2016 and are designed to emphasize the requirements of good research data management and to make research data more reusable.

 

Award Ceremony at the Thüringer FDM-Tage 2020

The winners will be awarded at the opening event of the Thüringer FDM-Tage 2020 and will have the opportunity of introducing their institution and the project. The Thüringer FDM-Tage are organized by the members of the Thuringian Competence Network Research Data Management and are intended to raise awareness for the different aspects of research data management in Thuringia.

This years' FDM-Tage under the motto "Research Data Management: More than just a FAIRytale!" will take place from 29 June to 2 July and comprise events at the universities in Erfurt, Ilmenau, Jena and Weimar.

Terms of participation

From 5 March to 30 April 2020  extendet to 10. May all researchers from Thuringian universities have the chance to submit published datasets. The datasets will be evaluated on the basis of the FAIR principles by the members of the Thuringian Competence Network Research Data Management.
